The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is wrate by Stephen R. Covey at 1989. In that book, it describes the 7 habit of highly effective people, they are:

  1. Be Proactive
  2. Begin with the End in Mind
  3. Put First Things First
  4. Think Win-Win
  5. Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
  6. Synergize
  7. Sharpen the Saw

I like the No.2,3 and 4 best, because I think they are helpful for my future working life. Indeed, I have to train and make these hobit when I am taking my study courses in college.

I believe that to make a goal and work hard for it (Begin with the End in Mind) can support me to get success easily because I know what I want. It is very simalar to riding bike. If you watch at the ground near you, you cannot go stright exactly, but you can do it when you looking at a position very far from you.

Moreover, everything has an order and I need to identify that which quest should be down first(Put First Things First) It requires me to have time management and plan make skills. It is very important to make everything down in a right way.

When I do a group work together with other students, I should think about “the win-win”. It means, to work together, we should have the same goal or we can help each other. To consider about other’s feel and make them happy is a good way to earn friendship. Also, when I am working in the future, I may work with others. To get the business success, I have to find a balance to keep the team work well and help my company to get the win. It is the win-win between my teammates and me, but also get a win for my company.

It is a very useful tool to finding a job, for employees, and contact business professionals. So, the business professionals can use Linked-in to provides a change that people can find their liked business professionals on that social media tool.

5. Name Check List

The TNW website says: “This is an essential tool both for established businesses as well as startups who might be deciding on their new company name.” Business professionals can use this social media tool to check whether their new company name is used by someone else. It is very easy to use and save time.
